Resident Wayne Gardner, an experienced CAL presenter, will share his extensive knowledge of Colorado's music venues, iconic performers, state-of-the-art recording studios, and industry renowned concert promoters as he takes a sentimental journey through the state's rich music history.

If you listened to Denver morning radio on KHOW in the 1970's, you probably remember "Charlie and Marti in the Morning." Join Marti Martin (now Marti Waneka of HEB) as she shares many stories of her career as a radio personality from winning the contest that won her the job, hosting that morning show, interviewing famous rock musicians, and traveling the world as well as hosting local events.
Registration starts May 29.
In this era of "fake news" and dissatisfaction with the news media, this class will provide an interactive forum in which to talk about how new stories are pursued, verified, and green lit for print or broadcast publication.
