Having kicked off its 2026 Winter/Spring Semester term on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, CAL will begin its Winter/Spring Semester on February 2. Eighteen different courses will run from that date into April when the term concludes.​
Online registration for the 2 ​
Pop-Up classes are classes that just pop up as topics of interest are discovered in our community. They are one session only, one to two-hour free events that take place generally at the clubhouse.
Registration is recommended but not required. Drop-ins are welcome on a space available basis. Pop-Ups Coordinator Darrah Yates monitors email reservations.

In this era of "fake news" and dissatisfaction with the news media, this class will provide an interactive forum in which to talk about how new stories are pursued, verified, and green lit for print or broadcast publication.
