Winter/Spring 2026 Semester Kickoff
CAL will kick off its 2026 Winter/Spring Semester term on Monday, January 6., 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Antero Room. Facilitators of the various courses being offered during the term will do short presentations about their courses.
Registration will open at 1 p.m. and will remain open for one week until January 13.
The registration help desk will be open from 1 to 3 for those who are unable to register from their mobile device or their home computers.

2026 Winter/Spring Semester Course Registration Timeline
Online registration for the 2026 Winter/Spring Semester Term began at 1 p..m. on Monday, January 6, 2026., and will close on one week later on Monday, January 13 at 7 p.m.
You can visit the CourseStorm website to preview the class catalogue one week prior to January 6, but you won't be able to sign up for courses until the registration period opens.
A help desk will be available at the clubhouse on Monday, January 6, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. to assist those who require registration help.

Free CAL Pop-Up Classes
Pop-Up classes are classes that just pop up as topics of interest are discovered in our community. They are one session only, one to two-hour free events that take place generally at the clubhouse.
Registration is recommended but not required. Drop-ins are welcome on a space available basis. Pop-Ups Coordinator Darrah Yates begins taking email reservations 2 weeks prior to a scheduled event.

In this era of "fake news" and dissatisfaction with the news media, this class will provide an interactive forum in which to talk about how new stories are pursued, verified, and green lit for print or broadcast publication.
